Since you arrived here, we know that you are not afraid of more work! So here it is and I will pay the first person that e-mails me a correct answer 50 extra credit points.

The problem: If molecules were 1 inch cubes and you spread out 1 mole of water molecules over the United States, how deep would the pile be?

Stuff you may need.

Area of United States= 3,615,123 mi2

1 molecule = 1 in3

Avogadro's number: 6.02 x 1023 molecules/1 mole

Hint: Start by calculating the volume that the mole of "giant" water molecules would require?

Long live Factor-Label Method !!!! :)
