You can always move to the decant side of the directions. That is the side without a precipitate.
Use more than 3 drops of Unknown. More like a quarter inch of Unknown in the bottom of the test-tube.
When you use more Unknown, you will have to increase the amount of each reagent along the way. This keeps the ratios the same :)
